Lt Col (R) Khalid Taimur Akram, ED CGSS and Ghulam Akbar, Senior Advisory Board Member CGSS are also present.ISLAMABAD(Saleem Rais) A three-member delegation from Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad led by Mar Gen(R) Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery HI(M),President CGSS, and accompanied by Lt Col(R ) Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director CGSS along with Mr. Ghulam Akbar, Senior Advisory Board Member CGSS visited the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and met the First Deputy Minister, Mr. Mirboboev Rahmatulo Madayubovich. During the meeting, it was decided that the Ministry and CGSS will jointly work on entrepreneurship and CGSS will hold entrepreneurial trainings in Tajikistan. Furthermore, CGSS will also facilitate student exchange programmes between various universities of Tajikistan and Pakistan.
Later the CGSS delegation visited Academy of Sciences, Republic of Tajikistan. The delegation met Mr. Rahimi Farhod, President Academy of Sciences, Republic of Tajikistan. During the discussion, both the parties vowed to work together for the enhancement of their future relations especially in the fields of information technology, cybersecurity, water related issues and agricultural research and
development. CGSS delegation also visited the Ministry of Economic Development & Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and met the Minister Mr. Nematullo Khikmatullozoda. S. During the meeting, both the sides agreed to jointly work for research and development in the fields of trade and economy. This effort by both the countries will substantially increase trade volume. Furthermore, the prospects of cooperation in areas of trade, economy and investment were also examined which will further strengthen brotherly relations and well-being of the two nations.
