ISLAMABAD, September 3: Shehryar Afridi assumed charge as Minister of State for Interior Monday. Later, he chaired an introductory meeting at interior ministry in Islamabad.
Interior Secretary briefed the Minister of State about the administrative matters of the ministry. Shehryar Afridi on the occasion said national interest will not be compromised at any cost.
He said nepotism and negligence will not be tolerated. He directed the concerned authorities to respect overseas Pakistanis at airports. -DNA
