Notwithstanding the hullabaloo being raised by the opposition against the PTI in various public forums,no ripple has been caused anywhere because the common man of this country is wise enough to realise that it would be premature to sit in judgement over the rulers who have come into power in this country as a result of 2018 elections .The rulers deserve a breathing space,an allowance at least up to the next financial budget.By then ,hopefully, they would have got their act together.
One would be risking repetition if one were to recount the terrible mess which the new rulers inherited from the outgoing governments whether it was the last government or the one before it.Fawad Chaudri is not wrong when he says the nation has got the right to know where have those billions of rupees gone which were drawn during the last decade by the rulers of this country ostensibly for carrying out developmental works in Balochistan. It is understandable that only those so-called politicians of the country have been taking umbrage over the said statement of the information minister who are involved in the misuse of this hefty amount.
The tragedy with the existing legal system of this country is that the filthy rich who have come into big money through dubious means get away with their crime because it is heavily loaded with the concept of the benefit of the doubt. How can you convict a person in a legal system which gyrates round the principle that it doesn’t matter if nine out of ten killers go scot free but one innocent person should never be hanged.
