KARACHI, January 15: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday declared opposition’s alliance against government alliance for restoration of corruption and said that whenever they are asked about money, they say that democracy and 18th amendment is in danger.
Talking to media in Karachi on Tuesday, the Federal Minister has demanded arrest of co-chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)
Asif Ali Zardari, his sister Faryal Talpur and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, in light of JIT’s findings into fake bank account cases.
He said the rule of Asif Zardari and OMNI group in Sindh has ended; the party is facing difficulty in keeping its MPAs intact in the province.
PPP will be wiped-out from Sindh as PML-N was taken to the cleaners in Punjab,the minister vowed.
Chaudhry went on to say that so far, the anti-graft watchdog’s pace performance is slow. He said that the investigation should be taken forward after arresting Asif Zardari and Faryal Talpur.
Omni Group’s kingdom in Sindh has ended, he said and added whenever you ask them about money, they will say that democracy is in danger.
Responding to a query, the minister said all coalition partners including Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) of the federal government are standing firm with PTI. – NNI
