ISLAMABAD, January 25: The students of Fazaia Education System School visited the Embassy of Uzbekistan under the supervision of their teachers.
The students had desired to pay a visit to our Embassy to get an idea of modern Uzbekistan-Pakistan relations, especially in the field of culture. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Furqat Sidikov briefed the students about his country.
The students saw the paintings of the Great Scientists, Islamic Scholars and Historical personalities of Uzbekistan and got a lot of information about bright culture and deep history of the Republic.
The students also saw documentaries about “Introduction of Uzbekistan” and “Army of Uzbekistan”.
After the videos, there was an interactive session in which the participants discussed the history of Uzbekistan, its Independence, the cultural similarities and the relations between two Brotherly Nations.
At the end of the event, the participants of the events were presented a book by the name “Star Night”.
This book is about life (true story) of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, the founder of the Great Mughal (Baburids) Empire. The book was published in 50 countries and was specially translated into Urdu language.
The ambassador of Uzbekistan Furqat Sidikov wished the students all success in their education.
He hoped that these students one day would become great leaders of Pakistan that will strengthen national development and close international relations.
