ISLAMABAD, February 6: The Chief News Editor of Daily National Herald Tribune, Saleem Rais held a meeting with Director General on Economic Affairs, Sri Lankan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Saroja Srisena in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Saroja Srisena is now-a-days on a visit to Pakistan to further cement relations between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
During the meeting the Editor of National Herald Tribune presented a copy of Daily National Herald Tribune to Saroja Srisena. She lauded the efforts of the NHT team and promised to advise the Sri Lankan news agency to send the news about Sri Lanka to the NHT newspaper.
She assured that we will try our best for signing an MOU between NHT and Sri Lankan news agency for sharing the Sri Lankan news to the newspaper.
During the meeting Sri Lankan Counsellor, Mr. Anees was also present.
