RAJANPUR, February 22: Prime Minister Imran Khan warned on Friday that make noise as much as possible but the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will hold each and everyone accountable .
Addressing a ceremony of health cards distribution in Rajanpur, the prime minister termed that a particular group was looting the country on pretext of democracy. “We will hold every one of them accountable, and we are not going to spare anyone guilty,” he warned.
He also mentioned that if any big looter arrested he became Nelson Mandela, adding that if powerful robber held then all the robbers made a noise as the democracy in danger. He also said that the poor are facing prisons and the robbers are in the parliament.
“When the palaces of corrupt persons surfaced, they are unable to give even a single document in their defence,” he said.
He   expressed his displeasure over poor conditions of government-run hospitals and lamented the parliamentarians who don’t let local hospitals develop. He has vowed a major overhaul to fix existing ‘dismal’ state of public sector hospitals. The premier said that the government hospitals used to provide better healthcare but the politicians prefer to have their treatment abroad. “I was born in a government hospital, my sisters were too. In the past, these hospitals used to provide standard healthcare,” he said.
“But nowadays affluent people don’t prefer to go to government hospital. Ishaq Dar, Nawaz Sharif and his brother also prefer medical treatment, he added.
“Naya Pakistan is the Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal,” he stated.
He asked what law permits rulers to neglect healthcare of their own country and rely on foreign hospitals. He said even if a parliamentarian has an ailment, he/she goes abroad for treatment.-Agencies
