- COAS also briefed PM about operational preparedness of country’s armed forces
ISLAMABAD, April 4: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to situation along the eastern and western borders came under discussion. The COAS also briefed the prime minister about operational preparedness of the country’s armed forces and anti-terrorism operations undergoing in the country. Matters pertaining to overall situation of the country’s sovereignty was also reviewed in the meeting.
PM Imran Khan while expressing satisfaction over professional preparations of the armed forces said that Pakistan will continue to play its role for regional peace.-Agencies
