PESHAWAR, March 1: Provincial Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Muhammad Atif Khan has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government will spend Rs.2738 million on provision of free Text Books to the students of Grade I to XII and ensure its timely provision to every student of the province at all cost.
This he stated while addressing the inaugural ceremony of free text books for year 2016-17 at Text Book Board Peshawar on Tuesday. The ceremony was also addressed by chairman Text Book Board Peshawar and highlighted its performance and successes in details. He informed the minister that the board has published 46479482 text books at a cost of Rs.2738 million.
The education minister said the PTI led Provincial Government had introduced good governance in all sectors and ensured merit and transparency for the purpose.-PR
