Finally the cat is out of bag ! It is old cat once again. Majority gained by BJP in recent elections proved shocking not only for the Congress but to all those handful ineffective well wishers of India who still believe in so called secular identity of the self style largest democracy of the world. BJP leadership stands surprised too over unexpectedly high margin of victory. Few voices raised over rigging through voting machines could not find enough attention in media.
Quick kneeling by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi through acceptance of defeat indicates the deep impact of BJP’s victory which wouldn’t be facing any fear of opposition campaign on account of rigging in near future. Sane minds in India take this victory of BJP as death of secular values.
Though, past ruling regimes other than BJP, too paid no heed to secular values in practical terms but they never spoke loudly in contradiction to constitutional bindings. It was congress era under PM Indira Gandhi that Sikh minority faced the worst treatment from state and extremist Hindu bigots in the name of national security. Merciless execution of ‘Operation Blue Star’ at golden temple eventually led to assassination of PM Indira Gandhi in the hands of her own Sikh bodyguards and the worst ever anti Sikh riots.
Sikh community still feels the pain of those deep wounds and thousands of migrated Sikh families living all over the world are actively supporting the demand of free Khalistan.
There will be a world wide referendum for Khalistan next year with the title of ‘Referendum 2020’. Case of Kashmir can be placed at top of the most heinous crimes of Indian state. So called secular parties left no stone unturned in crushing the unarmed Kashmiri masses through brutal application of state power.
Nothing good was ever served to oppressed Dalits, Nexalites and Maoist activists by the flag bearers of secularism in India. India remained a Hindu state ever since her formal creation after 1947 partition but the rulers never removed the thin mask of secularism while being at the helm of affairs in power corridors. Verbal commitment with secular values was never denied so openly and directly as did the BJP during her first term. This is for the first time in India that ruling party candidates and top leadership openly brought Natho Ram Godse, the killer of Gandhi, as a hero during election campaign.
Ministers proudly threatened the Kashmiri masses of facing the unimaginable consequences in the hands of security forces. Interior Minister ordered security personnel to fire bullets on unarmed stone throwers in Kashmir.
Being a Muslim has become a crime under BJP rule in India. Cow is holier than the human life and ‘Gao Rakshaks’ possess a license to kill any Muslim just by declaring him a beef eater. Under Modi rule India rapidly grew her dangerous and destructive qualities at a phenomenal multiplying pace. Cross border terrorism has been openly adopted as state policy.
There is no guilt or reflection of any sign of shame for patronizing proxies against Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, China and Afghanistan. World community, since long, has been ignorant upon Indian state crimes primarily due to the attraction offered by huge size of her economic market.
BJP took full advantage of this tendency and generated a war like situation with Pakistan with the manifestation of Pulwama attack false flag operation. Surgical strike drama , though received a jaw breaking response from Pak air force, however its Bollywood style projection by Indian media eventually enabled BJP to successfully sell her lies during elections. One can safely assess that multi billion dollars game was played in Indian elections to shroud the real face of BJP for which Indian media provided every possible assistance.
Top political leadership in India openly marched at the drum beat of Hindutva! PM and his ministers talked about war with Pakistan and claimed to strike deep inside by forcefully entering in the neighbor’s house. Two years back PM Modi claimed to support the separatist terrorists in Balochistan. Pakistan still holds the master mind of terrorist net work Khal Bhoshan Jhadev, who being a serving navy officer, happens to be a state actor. India, under Modi, probably lost every bit of sense that Pakistan happens to be a nuclear power and it came in to being as an independent Muslim state as result of long historical process.
Hindu extremism remained the main driving force behind uniting the Muslims of sub continent for the cause of a separate state.
Peace will never prevail in South Asia by denying the ground realities. India , as a state, had been denying the realities silently in the past as well but such an open expression of aggression and brutal implementation of party policies have not only exposed Indian society to the menace of Hindu extremism rather endangered the peace of entire region.
Pak PM has extended a formal congratulation to Narinder Modi and Foreign Office too repeated principal based stance to resolve all disputes through dialogues with India.
Hopefully, such gestures will not be meant any more than the routine formal diplomatic expressions. In the past, Pakistan had to face embarrassment once (then) PM Nawaz Sharif displayed unusual warmth by attending the oath taking ceremony of Modi. Miscalculated unnecessary gesture met a disaster once Indian media threw fabricated allegations of cross border terrorism in the shape of questions dictated by Indian foreign office and RAW.
Decision makers in Islamabad should be well aware of the fact that Modi was all set to declare a war upon Pakistan few weeks back.
His hands are soaking with the blood of innocent Pakistanis and Kashmiri martyrs . Foolish gestures can not fetch any diplomatic advantage in a world which weighs every matter at the scale of own particular interests. Undoubtedly, BJP’s victory generates multiple threats to the regional paece.
