ISLAMABAD, July 9: Senior vice president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday claimed that PTI government has examined the video of the judge that is why PM Imran Khan did not defend the judge.
Addressing a press conference, the former prime minister said the decision against Nawaz Sharif has no legal value after the video of accountability judge came on surface. He said the judge has confessed that it is his video.
Abbasi said the judge has accused of bribe making the decision more suspicious, adding that reality behind this accountability has been revealed now.
PML-N leader said after the video both judge and his judgment are controversial.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that taking U-turns is Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s old habit. He said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is only maligning politicians instead of doing its work. We only want nation to know about the reality of accountability claims, he stated.
Earlier while addressing the PML-N workers convention, senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that corrupt people have joined PTI to save themselves. He also pledged to topple the government of Imran Khan.
Abbasi said workers stand with party at crucial times, adding that history tells us those who keep changing their loyalties do not possess a good political career.
Government is pressurizing the opposition. In current scenario, it seems that only those associated with PTI are pure and clean, he told.
Talking on the occasion, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that his party is the only one fighting to save the institutions. He said PTI government is attacking the judiciary and PML-N does not want people to suffer due to incompetency of Imran Khan. -NNI
