UPPER DIR, August 18 : At least six persons lost their lives including a child and 14 received severe wounds following a massive bomb explosion rocked Upper Dir district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province on Sunday.
As per details, the remote controlled blast happened near a passenger van in Gamdand area of Tehsil Shringle.
As per police, a double cabin bus was targeted in which four passengers
died on the spot while 14 others breathed their last when they were on way to hospital. Law and enforcements agencies and rescue workers arrived at the place and injured were shifted to nearby hospitals. The dead bodies and the injured have been moved to the District Headquarter Hospital. The condition of three among injured persons declared critical. Police also confirmed that six people have been died in the incident so far. He said that an emergency was declared at the DHQ Hospital.
