Iran has a president these days who is reputed to be a moderate person.India is the second biggest buyer of Iranian oil.India has invested heavily in the Iranian seaport at Chahbahar.Despite these facts the Iranian supreme leader Ayatullah Khamenai has recently condemned Indian aggression against the Kashmiri Muslims which is no mean thing. One shouldn’t forget that under the Iranian constitution the view of the Iranian supreme leader is considered to be the last word.
One would have hoped that leaders of other Middle Eastern countries would follow the suit but nothing doing uptill now.It is unfortunate that the Muslim world is riven with factions galore. The sectarian divide among the oil rich countries has driven a big wedge among many Muslim countries .It has provided a big opportunity to anti-Muslim countries to play off one against the other and engineer sectarian clashes amongst the adherents of different faiths in many countries.Neither Putin nor Trump would have been able to show their teeth to the Muslims had all Muslim countries grouped themselves under a military pact like the NATO or Warsaw Pact and declared that hostility against any one of them by any outside country would be considered as hostility against all the Muslim world. The health of their economies too would have been excellent had they decided to have a common currency.
It is in the evidence that India is actively engaged in fomenting trouble in Balochistan .The successive governments in the past have been sanctioning reasonable amounts for developmental activities in that province but there is no evidence of proper spending of that money on the development of Balochistan.Obviously somebody ,somewhere down the line have been siphoning off a big chunk of it.The PM had better evolve a foolproof monitoring system for keeping an eagle eye on the expenditure of money for the welfare of the people of the largest province of the country.
