ISLAMABAD, August 27: An MoU signing ceremony was held between National Herald Tribune(NHT), Pakistan and Information Agency ‘Dunyo’ Republic of Uzbekistan at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islamabad on Tuesday. The MoU was signed by Uzbek Ambassador H.E. Furqat A. Sidikov on behalf of the Information Agency and Mr. Ghulam Akbar, Chief Executive Officer, NHT.
It was agreed that both the parties will together promote vital news of the other country on subjects of common interests and will exchange relevant opinions, editorials and press releases.
This agreement is a milestone achieved by Center for Global and Strategic Studies(CGSS), Islamabad by facilitating the MoU signing between both the parties.
Earlier, in an informal chat the Uzbek Ambassador said that Pakistan and Uzbekistan are twin brothers who enjoy common history and that in the days to come, relations between the two countries will further grow in different fields.
Lt. Col(R) Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, CGSS, Riaz Ahmed Malik, Group Editor, NHT and Saleem Rais, Editor NHT were also present during the ceremony.-Agencies
