This is certainly no time for any political agitation as the country is facing danger of a possible shoot out between Pakistan and India over the recent happenings in Kashmir. Any disturbance at this point in time is going to benefit our arch enemy. The political leaders in the country flexing their muscles for a showdown with government in coming October, it seems , have taken leave of their senses. They can rest assured that the nation is not going to heed to their call for a lockdown of the federal capital so it would be advisable that in order to save their face over the humiliation likely to be caused to them by their failure to assemble enough agitators on the streets for the purpose they had better postpone their rally to some opportune time.
The government needs a space to concentrate fully on the Kashmir problem. Any distraction from it would be suicidal and the nation would never forgive those political leaders who would try to put a spoke in its wheels at this critical juncture instead of standing solidly behind it as it is a national matter over which no politics should be played by any political quarter.
Prima facile Modi and his henchmen are showing no regrets over what they are doing in the occupied valley. They seem to have been emboldened by the indifference shown by many Muslim countries over the present turmoil in Kashmir.
Some of the Muslim countries did issue statements on the worsening political situation in Kashmir but those statements lacked bite and amounted to no more than lip service.
