ISLAMABAD, September 1: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi urged the Muslim nations to take a serious notice of gross violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir.
In an interview with Arab News, he said he had appealed to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Contact Group on Kashmir for convening a meeting on the sidelines of United Nations (UN) General Assembly session in September.
He said it was a diplomatic achievement of Pakistan that Kashmir issue was being talked about all over the world. Responding to a question, Qureshi said India was playing the role of a spoiler in the ongoing Afghan peace talks by distracting us through its moves in Kashmir. -NNI
