There is more to the recent administrative changes in Kashmir made by India than meets the eye. Insiders say, Tel Aviv and Washington had taken into confidence some of the Arab countries as well as India that once India finished the special status of Kashmir, the three places namely Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu could be developed not only as a beautiful hill resort, it can be developed as an industrial and educational centre with the oil money of the Gulf which would then pay big dividends to the Arabian investors. The other point driven home was that by developing the educational centre in this area the Islamic extremists can also be taken on. The imaginary danger of Islamic fanaticism was also dinned into the ears of Chinese and Russian leadership. Whether or not , Beijing and Moscow agree to their point of view is not clear as yet.
Both Tel Aviv and Washington are of the view that the location of these three areas is such that through it a close watch can be kept on all the activities of the CPEC.
Our foreign minister is a good speaker. He is blessed with the gift of the gab through which he can put across Pakistan’s point of view quite effectively in any matter in the relevant public opinion forums in the world. He should have immediately dashed to important world capitals for apprising their media of the perpetration of India’s atrocities on hapless Kashmiris instead of addressing his countrymen or Pakistani media as they are already in the know of Indian excesses in the held Kashmir. Moreover, by this time we should have moved the ICJ against Modi, Amit Shah and other BJP leaders for masterminding gross human rights’violations in Kashmir. Needless to say the BJP which is an offshoot of the RSS has been religiously following the manifesto of the RSS which is aimed at eliminating adherents of all other religions, save for Hindus.
