ISLAMABAD, September 17: Pakistan on Tuesday condemned the terrorist attack on an election rally of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in Parwan province, in which reportedly 24 civilians including women and children lost their lives.
Foreign Office in a statement said, we offer our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families while praying for early recovery of those injured in the attack.
It further said, Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
Pakistan fully supports the Afghan efforts for restoring complete peace and stability in the country through strengthening of the democratic process in Afghanistan, statement concluded.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the loss of innocent lives in the attack is highly condemnable. He said peace in Afghanistan is important for peace and stability of the region.
The minister prayed for the departed souls and early recovery of the injured. NNI
