Babar Azam, the man in form, enjoyed every bit of his time at the crease while batting exceptionally in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.
The National Stadium Karachi (NSK) witnessed the rising star of Pakistan when he struck his 11th ODI century and becomes the third fastest batsman to accomplish the milestone after Hashim Amla and Quinton De Kock.
Babar struck 11 centuries in 71 innings while second fastest De Kock scored 11 ODI hundred in 65th inning and the fastest Amla took 61 ODI innings to score as many tons.
A splendid achievement and that too in front of the home crowd bring unforgettable moments in Babar’s lifetime memories.
To cheer the special moment, the 23-years-old cricketer took to Twitter and opens his heart to thank the energetic crowd which welcomed the return of ODI cricket in a wonderful way. “Couldn’t ask for a better place to complete my 11th ODI 100 and fastest 1000 runs in a calendar year than to do it in front of my people in Karachi, Pakistan. What a game it was!” he wrote.
