It was equally strange and painful news that Afghan Consulate at Peshawar was closed by the Afghanistan in protest to the decision given by Supreme Court of Pakistan in a case about ownership of a commercial market . Afghan consulate was a party in this case against a Pakistani citizen . During implementation of court decision , illegal occupants of commercial market resisted government officials offensively and later Afghan consular announced closure of consulate in clear violation of diplomatic norms. It is surprising that Afghan official representatives are not ready to abide by the Pakistani law of the land and are also not in a mood to accept the decision of Supreme Court . Question can be raised that why the consulate was involved in occupation and establishment of commercial markets on behalf of Afghan government instead of performing routine diplomatic tasks. It is obvious that Afghan government and its officials are not ready to view Pakistan with prejudice free glasses. Sanity demands that Afghan officials should get rid of Indian influence which primarily revolves around anti Pakistan coercive manipulations. Fragile process of Afghanpeace dialogue is still creeping forward in the hard rugged ground filled with bundle of negative probabilities, each one of which are capable enough to reverse the distance footed out so far . While being sure about the so much happening about restoration of peace in Afghanistan, one should not hesitate in expressing the unsureness about the success of the whole effort. It is not a negative guess! History of the region and track record of the stake holders speaks itself. Recent news about frequent ground operations combined with air raids resulting in death of Afghan civilians in various parts of Afghanistan indicate strength of troublesome waves moving beneath the surface.Dialogue process amid these attacks once linked to the track record of stake holders, portray a bleak picture. There is hardly any reason to take a sigh of relief about Afghanistan on Pak side of border. Complicated war against terrorism is still in progress at different tiers. It is getting more and more complicated with each passing day! In simple words , war is not yet over for Pakistan and mishandling of any sensitive affair may provide a chance of resurrection to those terrorist groups who managed to flee in Afghanistan and presently surviving under the joint hospitality of NDS and RAW. Role of USA in this regional gimmick doesn’t require much of elaboration ! In other words,under given situation, Pakistan hardly finds any reasons to be optimistic about USA !Rise in attacks on Afghan civil populace duringrecent times are no less than a bitter reminder or a bloody forewarning that what all could take place on ground. Peace is as usual endangered by none other than those who are portraying to be much worried about it since 17 years. Those adding linguistic fuel in the fire of violence are alarmingly active on both sides of Pak- Afghan border in these days. Manycontroversial statements of Afghan official quarters , expressing concerns about imaginative mistreatment with Pushtoons in Pakistani areas , never came up abruptly in any careless moment. It was in sharp contrast with the falsely fabricated narrative being propagated from the forum of PTM. Dubious self styled PTM’ propagators are leaving on stone unturned on social media to sear flames of hatred against the security forces . These prejudiced maneuverings are precisely aimed at undermining the tremendous role played by the valiant sons of soil . Frequent calls for protests floated from PTM forum were made only to the Pushtoon populace and the reasons were created by twisting the facts . These foolish efforts, to drag Pushtoon populace away from national course ,have sufficiently exposed the real intent of the forum managers. Though ,operations against terrorists took place in all provinces without any discrimination of color and race but PTM, at this critical stage of war, has started mud slinging and devilish exploitation of system weaknesses. Similar moves were made by absconder Altaf Hussain as well once he tried to seek refuge in exploitation of linguistic themes .India , while facing a major diplomatic embarrassment of being shamefully isolated from Afghan peace dialogues, finds it easy to keep Pakistan in a state of fix over linguistic issues. This weapon of linguistic hatred against security forces had fetched major dividends for India in the past in the form of Bangla Desh. Dual standards of PTM got badly exposed with the meaningful silence being observed in all her ranks and files over the inhuman killing ofPushtoon populace during various attacks in Afghanistan . Neither this silence was the first of its kind on part of PTM’ hypocrites nor it is going to be the last! Pushtoon populace stands no where in the priority list of Afghan government and PTM . Cheap exercise of foul mouthing is exclusive for perpetuating hatred against Pak security forces who are still standing like a rock between the terrorists and common masses. Hyper reactions from Afghan officials, over petty issues of property ownership disputes and court litigations, clearly indicate anti Pakistan tilt in collective mindset. Durable peace can not be restored without treating this venomous mindset on Afghan side.
