If everything that is being spoken written and discussed happens to be rooted in even half-truths, all the people who love this country have more than adequate reasons to get worried. And those people who really love this country love it not just because it is their homeland, but also because it is an acknowledged home to a Faith without which they would have had no real identity.
I am sure whatever I am trying to say is understood. We are Muslims before anything else. If we were not Muslims, there would have been no Pakistan and General Musharraf would not have an opportunity to raise ‘ Pakistan First’ cry.
Pakistan is much more than a big mass of land. It is an embodiment of a great concept. To understand the significance of this concept, one has only to remember how the West rushed to name Pakistan’s would-be bomb as an Islamic Bomb.
That is the thorn that pricks into the flesh as well as the mind of the West. Islam! Precisely because of the reason that we are Muslims, America Israel and India have ganged up to plunge Pakistan into an unending internal strife and to destablize it to an extent that it will automatically earn the title of a failed state.
