  • Seeks Pakistan Red Crescent Society’s help in education sector

PESHAWAR, March 9: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, Muhammad Atif Khan has lauded the efforts of Pakistan Red Crescent Society in solving the miseries of people in all sorts of emergencies and natural calamities at national level. He asked it to extend its services in the education sector as the organization had always helped the nation in every odd hour and the same would help the nation in its prosperity and development.
He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Pakistan Red Crescent Society (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chapter) at Peshawar on Wednesday.
The Minister said that the provincial government was appreciative of the efforts and services of PRCS in mitigating the suffering of people. He assured his government’s support to it. Muhammad Atif said the government was focusing its attention over the betterment of government schools and education deprived children as without providing education to each and every child, the dream of a developed and prosperous Khyber Pakhtunkhwa could not be materialized. He said the government was making survey to determine the real number of those students who were not willing to go to schools. He said unluckily the previous governments did not give priority to education development rather they constructed a number of educational institutions on political basis and appointed their relatives without merit.-PR
