ISLAMABAD, December 26: Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says responsible role of media is vital for the success of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday evening, she said that close coordination among Pakistani and Chinese media and responsible reporting are vital for CPEC projects. She said that anti-Pakistan narrative with regard to CPEC can be defeated with active cooperation of the media. The special assistant appreciated Chinese Xinhua news agency and Pakistan media’s role in this regard. The special assistant said that development of Gwadar Port under CPEC will improve our linkages with rest of the world.
