- Says Sindh and Punjab are afraid of accountability but PTI has presented itself for accountability
PESHAWAR, March 10: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak showed satisfaction with regard to KP police and said that he has called in Rangers for accountability rather than security.
Addressing a ceremony of passing out parade of Elite Force batch in Nowshera, KP CM said that he is satisfied with KP Police performance, tussle between bureaucracy and Police department is something normal but heads of both the departments can sit together to sort out issues.
He also said that he has written a letter to federal government to call Rangers for accountability rather than security adding that Sindh and Punjab are afraid of accountability but Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) presents itself for accountability.
The Chief Minister said that federal government has not been returning Frontier Core platoon that is why he has demanded Ranger’s deployment.
On this occasion, passed out Elite personnel also demonstrated their practical training. Out of 588 Elite Force personnel, 35 are women.-NNI
