ISLAMABAD, March 10: A high powered delegation of USAID, headed by Ann Calvarese Barr along with other members of office of Inspector General USAID called on Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, Chairman NAB at NAB headquarter and discussed matters of mutual interest with Chairman NAB and other high ranking officials of NAB.Chairman NAB informed the delegation about the Bureau’s achievements towards the rule of law, regime of anti-corruption and raising the stature of Pakistan in the international arena as is evident from latest Transparent International report.
Chairman NAB acknowledged the concerted efforts of USAID towards social uplift, infrastructure projects and measures adopted to make these projects corruption free to achieve sustainable development.
The USAID officials appreciated the NAB’s functioning and its efforts towards eradication of corruption.-PR
