Fawad Khan recently spoke to an Indian website and gave fans a little insight into how his wife Sadaf tackles the insecurities that arise from his heartthrob image.
Fawad Khan is one of Pakistan’s most hottest and popular export into the Indian film industry. Fawad has only starred in one Bollywood flick (his Kapoor and Sons has not yet released) which has garnered him immense praise. Also, he’s put one Filmfare aware under his belt from Khoobsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor. Owing to this, it is but natural that Fawad’s wife must feel a little jealous or insecure about all the hype surrounding the actor’s heartthrob image. Here’s what Fawad said about how his chocolate hero image does not affect his relationship in the media:-
“Are you trying to ask whether my marriage is falling apart? The reason my wife Sadaf is so secure is that she knows that a person like me will never be able to find another partner in life,” he said.
Fawad also said he couldn’t imagine being a good person to have an affair with since a conversation was all that a girl could have with him.
“Possibilities of affairs? No one would like to have an affair with me. I am just good for conversation. That is all I am good for. Jokes apart, honestly, even if you were a banker or a lawyer such insecurities exist for any couple around the world. That can happen at any stage and can happen as harmlessly as when you attend a dinner party and someone talks to you.”
Fawad did admit that him and his wife fought with each other just like any married couple but there were several reasons for it.
“When I see attention being given, I am happy. But when I see extra attention being given, I don’t like it. I am possessive that way and I expect her to be that way as well. But it has not happened to an extent that it has interfered with our relationship. We do fight but that happens in every relationship. There are several excuses to fight. But we have been going strong. We have gone through that patch after which life cannot be restarted. We are happy. We are both lazy to restart things. So the issue never comes up. It is a chilled dynamic between us,” he said.It seems Sadaf should count her stars for the fact that she has a loyal, faithful husband like Fawad!
His upcoming movie will release on March 18, which is titled Kapoor and Sons.
