It seems our parliamentarians haven’t come of age as yet. The MPAs of KPK assembly must hang their heads in shame over their hullabaloo on the floor of their Assembly for many days on end recently as a result of which no serious assembly business could take place for many days. Are they handsomely paid out of taxpayers ‘money every month in the shape of a fat purse only for squandering their time on non-issues instead of carrying out people-friendly legislation?
The common man is unhappy that the government hasn’t lowered the fuel price commensurate with the extent of drop in its price at international level. It is a fact that whenever there was an increase in its price at international level our governments jacked up its price accordingly but whenever there is a drop in its price at international level the benefit passed on to the common man is never in consonance with the decrease in its international price.
The Indian lobby has been in full swing to torpedo the peace accord signed by the US and the Taliban and to a great extent it has succeeded in its mission. New Delhi can never tolerate any government in Kabul which does not play second fiddle to it. How can Abdullah Abdullah , Ashraf Ghani and other persons of their ilk in Afghanistan tolerate that political element coming to power in Kabul which does not see eye to eye with their almoners , mentors and patrons sitting in New Delhi?
Those involved in trampling under their feet the national flag of the country in KPK recently must get their just deserts and no political expediency should be shown to them, no matter how strong they are politically.
