GHALANAI, March 9: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that if a man did not commit theft he did not need to flee to London. Imran Khan said that we have started improving the system, adding that the people did not need to worry as difficult time is over. He said that 2019 year was the most difficult year but now good time will come in front of masses. PM Imran Khan said that we have overcome the price spiral and prices will come down, adding that he will not spare those who made money while increasing prices of things through hoarding, adding that report is about to come and all responsible will be punished.
Addressing a big public gathering after inaugurating Ehsas Kafalat Programme at Ghalanai in district Mohmand on Monday, he said the government is making its best efforts to decrease prices of gas and electricity.
He said that the government is working to provide relief to the downtrodden segments of the society on the pattern on Riyasat-e-Madina. He vowed that the government will not increase electricity prices from now on and will instead find a way to talk to owners of the firms which supplied power to decrease the electricity prices. Imran Khan said that the government will take all the steps which could help decreasing the electricity prices. Imran Khan said that the previous government singed the contract of purchase of gas for 15 years, adding that today gas could be purchased on 30 percent price in the world as compared to signed contract, adding that we could not purchase gas on cheaper rates as 15 years contact has already been singed. Imran Khan said that whatever happens he has decided to not allow increase in prices of electricity and gas and rather he will make effort to decease the prices of electricity and gas.
PM Imran Khan said that country which has corrupt rulers could not make progress, adding that any country become poor when its rulers transfer money abroad after committing theft.
He said that the youth should never vote for the political parties whose leaders own big palaces, businesses, bank accounts and factories abroad. He said that the whole family is sitting abroad, adding that why they are fearing. Imran Khan said that when he talked about Panama the victimizations actions started against him, cases were filed against him in Supreme Court of Pakistan, six cases were filed against him in Election Commission of Pakistan for my disqualification, whether I fled to London, adding that I provided everything in court during 10 months and even 40 years old contracts were provided to court and I did not fled abroad and I did not complaint about victimization. He said that if a man did not commit theft he did not need to flee to London.
Imran Khan said provision of jobs to the tribal youth and development of tribal areas is top priority of the government. He said Olive gardens will be established in Mohmand district to get best quality olive oil, while clean drinking water will be provided to tribesmen from Mohmand Dam.
Turning to occupied Kashmir, the Prime Minister strongly condemned the siege of eight million Kashmiris by the Indian forces for the last seven months. He said the cruel fascist RSS ideology of the Indian government will no more continue and hoped that Kashmiri people will get their right to self-determination soon.
He said tribal areas are full of natural resources which will be utilized for the benefit of tribal people and national development.
The Prime Minister said all the elements involved in plundering the national wealth will be brought to justice at all costs. He pledged to make Pakistan a developed and prosperous country.
Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his “heartfelt wish” for lasting peace in Afghanistan, saying that stability in the neighbouring country would not only bring relief for the Afghani people but also for the residents of Pakistan’s tribal areas. The prime minister assured that he will make all efforts to open the Afghan border so that trade can flourish in the tribal areas. He acknowledged that the opening of the border would also lead to job creation.
He also promised to provide scholarships and loans for startup businesses to deserving people, under the Ehsaas welfare programme.-Sabah
