I believe now is the time to shun our egos and grudges to form a joint front against our common enemies. God has not gifted IK with perfection but he is our only hope. The only alternatives to him are those whose greed was matched only by their cerebral destitution.

When Captain first assigned me media responsibilities in 2010 I ran into Malick and Kashif Abbasi in a party. Malick asked me what I was doing. I told them I was bracing up for a role in IK’s party. “Imran!”murmured both in a sarcastic gasp looking at me with pity. I was shocked.

It is in the nature of Media in our country to be either a guardian of the agenda of some Interest Group or be permanently engaged in finding space for itself in the opposition. It requires moral strength to support the govt when support is the only option in national interest.
