MQM leaders accuse PPP of looting resources

KARACHI, December 14: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan on Tuesday has said that those who commit corrupt practices make black law.
Holding a press conference with other MQM leaders, Khawaja Izhar said that everyone is aware about the corrupt practices of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). MQM was not consulted for the local body bill of 2013, he said.
The MQM leader said that all the sectors in Sindh have expressed reservations over local body amendment bill. PPP is looting resources of the nation with both hands, he alleged.
Earlier, MQM leadership met Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s (PML-N) counterparts.
MQM representative Amir Khan said that PPP did not consult us while passing the local body bill in the provincial assembly.
He said that Sindh government has abandoned the local body bill and consulting with other party. In caseif MQM will further be negated, the party will lead mass protests, he went on to say.-DNA
