Our economy is in a mess because those who should pay are not paying taxes in accordance with their actual income. Money doesn’t grow on trees. Government has to generate revenues through a fair taxation system and a fair system of tax collection would remain a far cry unless the government knows actual income of citizens of the country. Every government from 1948 hitherto has only chuntered and dithered about documentation of country’s economy and hasn’t done anything concrete in the matter.
Omicron is on our heads as some cases of it have been reported in the country.
