ISLAMABAD, December 28: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has expressed reservations on report by DPO over alleged pre-poll rigging in Baka Khel area of Bannu.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) has directed special secretary to complete the investigation by January 4 and present the report to the commission.
It merits mention that election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has postponed polling for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Elections in Baka Khel over security situation.
The decision was taken after complaint was filed in the ECP against a provincial minister and his accomplices for alleged pre-polling rigging and abducting polling staff and security personnel.-DNA
