President of Turk menistan Gurbanguly Berdimu hamedov on Wednesday participated in the New Year celebration at the country’s main New Year tree on the square in front of the Älem Cultural and Entertainment Center in Ashgabat, the country’s official media reports. The celebration gathered children from all velayats of the country and students of the capital’s schools with excellent grades, government officials, and parliamentarians. The main New Year tree with a height of 38.5 meters and a width of 16 meters sparkled with bright lights and an octagonal star with the symbol 2022 at the top. On behalf of all the young Turkmen citizens, Ayaz Baba and Garpamyk congratulated the Head of State Gurbanguly Berdim uhamedov on the upcoming year, which will be held under the motto “The Era of the People with Arkadag”.
