President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov inspected on Thursday a new hemodialysis center located in Karakol, Issyk-Kul Oblast, his press service reported. The Kyrgyz leader familiarized with the activities and conditions of the center and inspected its medical facilities and wards.
Health Minister of the republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said that the number of patients suffering from kidney failure is increasing every year, and previously purchased devices are outdated. The new hemodialysis center in Karakol, built by a private company, will be able to serve up to 70 patients a day. Sadyr Zhaparov talked with the hospital staff and asked about the problems.
The head of state spoke about the plans to increase the salaries of medical workers next year, which should also have a positive impact on the human resource capacity of domestic medicine.
Here, the president handed over the keys to an ambulance for the needs of the Issyk-Kul Oblast hospital, which will also serve patients at the hemodialysis center. A total of eight ambulances for regional hospitals were donated to the health care system by President Sadyr Zhaparov.
The construction and equipping of this center was done by a private company. Currently, the hemodialysis centers of this company have 31 dialysis units, five of which are located in Balykchy and six – in Cholpon-Ata.
