PPP starts holding meetings to form new opposition alliance

ISLAMABAD, January 11: Pakistan people’s Party (PPP) has started preparations to form another major coalition against the government after the right wing’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
The PPP main slot has also started contacts with the progressive opposition parties like Awami National Party (ANP) and National Democratic Movement (NDM).
For this purpose, the channel report said that the PPP delegation led by Syed Khurshid Shah will meet Aimal Wali Khan of ANP in Peshawar and will invite him to join the Long March and Farmers March.
While PPP leaders Farhatullah Babar and Faisal Karim Kundi also met the NDM chief Mohsin Dawar and gave him an invitation to join Long March and Farmers March in the meeting on Tuesday.
The report said that the NDM sought time for consultation on the matter of joining the PPP’S long march and farmers march against the rulers.-DNA
