Isn’t it a fact that that it is down to bold decisions of the prime minister that we have successfully fought the battle against covid 19.Isn’t it, therefore grimly ironic that he should be fighting for his political survival today.The opposition parties in the country are ganging up against him because most of their leaders who are involved in mega corruption cases want a reprieve which he is not willing to provide them.
Tension between Moscow and Washington over Ukraine is increasing by the day.Like the Cuban crisis it has the potentiality of touching off into a war which might engulf eastern Europe.
Let us admit that Putin is a sore in the eyes of the US which doesn’t like increase in his political stature in the world and his efforts aimed at the renaissance of the erstwhile Soviet Union.
