The entire world community particularly those countries who are economically in a position to help assist Afghanistan to stand on its feet economically are sitting on their hands and doing nothing with the result that Afghanistan is facing acute economic problem and if this indifference continuous the possibility of yet another civil war in Afghanistan cannot be ruled out altogether and once that happens who can guarantee that the world in that case would not be plunged into yet another world war. Before that eventually happens it is about time the western countries open up their coffers and dole out sufficient money to Afghanistan in order to enable it to tide over its economic woes. The prime Minister has recently taken a strong note of this apathy of the Western countries towards Afghanistan He has also very rightly condemned the mysterious silence over the superpowers over barbarism and atrocities being committed since long by the Indian forces on the hapless Kashmiris Let us admit that incase UN failed to intervene in Kashmir its fate won’t be very much different from that of the league of nations.
