Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Indonesian Pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai event has attracted 750 thousand visitors as of January 31, 2022, an official has informed.
“We are proud that the Indonesian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai managed to attract 750 thousand visitors for four months. This is the result of good collaboration between ministries and institutions that always present interesting activities every week,” director general of national export development at the Ministry of Trade and commissioner general of the Indonesian Pavilion, Didi Sumedi, said in a statement issued in Jakarta on Wednesday.
This success cannot be separated from Indonesia’s efforts to continue to show the nation’s potential to the world and to make the Indonesian Pavilion a miniature country that maps Indonesia’s progress in the trade, investment, and tourism sectors, he remarked.
Sumedi said that the Indonesian Pavilion saw participation from 21 ministries and institutions, which presented investment opportunities in Indonesia through 193 activities in the form of business forums, one-on-one meetings, and seminars for business players in the Middle East and global markets.
