Karachi, December 27 : The former captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team Rashid Latif has said that he does not think Muhammad Amir should play for Pakistan again as he does not deserve to wear the cap which was wore by some of the greatest names of cricket, a cricket website reported on Sunday.
The wicket-keeper batsman said that Amir is a good cricketer and they should let him play the domestic cricket and the leagues in the different countries but he should not be given the green signal to represent the country after his crime.
Muhammad Amir has already served the 5 year ban which was imposed on him after the spot fixing scandal in 2010 against England in a test match. Amir had bowled a no-ball and had been banned along with Muhammad Asif and Salman Butt.
Amir’s inclusion has already disturbed the Pakistan team training camp as the former T20 captain Muhammad Hafeez and current ODI captain Azhar Ali boycotted the camp for a day and did not like Muhammad Amir in the training camp.
On the other hand Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman has liked Amir’s performance in the domestic cricket and the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). He talked to Hafeez and Azhar to convince them and both players joined the camp.
