PESHAWAR, February 14: The Advisor to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis & HRD, Muhammad AyubAfridi said that Education is one of the most important elements for collective development of a society and a state.
Addressing inauguration ceremony of OPF Public School, Peshawar, the Advisor said that education is a social process that enables human beings to develop their quality of life and lead a peaceful social life. It makes the individual to contribute to human development in accordance with contextual changes of the nation. He said that education is not just about getting a degree or a piece of paper. With proper education, one can get respect, dignity and self-confidence in society. “An educated person will always get numerous options throughout his/her life”, he added.
Afridi said that being Muslims, our religion teaches us to “seek knowledge from cradle to grave.” There is no age limit for getting education. So, it is our duty to seek knowledge and promote education among others.
The Advisor appreciated that management of OPF for establishing a school in Peshawar to cater to the educational needs of the students of this area. Earlier, the Advisor formally inaugurated OPF Public School, Peshawar.-PR
