RAWALPINDI, February 18: Anti Narcotics Force Pakistan seized 2784.293 Kgs of Drugs and 780 Liters Prohibited Chemical valuing US$412.229Million internationally, arrested 59 culprits including 3 women,2Foreign Nationals and impounded16 vehicles while conducting 64 counternarcotics operations throughout the country. The seized drugs comprised 536.791 Kg Heroin, 1671.5 Kg Hashish,212 Kg Opium, 7.12 Kg Amphetamine, 258.823 Kg Methamphetamine (Ice), 2.530 KgCocaine,491 x Ecstasy Tablets (0.283 Kg), 134 x Intoxicated Tablets (0.090 Kg), 95.156 Kg Suspected Substance, 600 Liters Acetic Anhydride and 180 Liters Hydrogen Peroxide.
ANF Balochistan recovered 760.09 Kg drugsand 780 Liters prohibited chemical in 7 operations while arrested 3 accused including 2 womenand seized 3 x vehicle. The seized drugs comprised 495Kg Hashish, 215 Kg Methamphetamine (Ice), 134 x Intoxicated Tablets (0.090 Kg)and 50 Kg Suspected Powder.
ANF Punjab recovered 18.2 Kg drugs in 13 operations while arrested 9 accused and seized 2 x vehicles. The seized drugs comprised13.474Kg Heroin, 0.500 Kg Hashishand 4.226 Kg Methamphetamine (Ice).
ANF KPK recovered 311.421 Kg drugs in 10 operations while arrested 5 accusedseized 1 x vehicle. The seized drugs comprised 50.991Kg Heroin, 121.17Kg Hashish, 112 Kg Opium and 27.26 Kg Methamphetamine (Ice).
ANF Sindh recovered 1472.244 Kg drugs in 17 operations while arrested 24 accused and seized 3 x vehicles. The seized drugs comprised414.058Kg Heroine,1002.13Kg Hashish, 10.62Kg Methamphetamine (Ice), 486 x Ecstasy Tablets (0.280 Kg) and 45.156 Kg suspected substance.
ANF North, recovered 222.338 Kg drugs in 17 operations and arrested 18 accused including 1 woman and 2 Foreign Nationalsand seized 7 x vehicles. The seized drugs comprised 58.268Kg Heroin, 52.7Kg Hashish, 100Kg Opium, 7.12Kg Amphetamine, 1.717 Kg Methamphetamine (Ice) 2.530 Kg cocaine and 5 xEcstasy Tablets (0.003 Kg).
All cases have been registered at respective ANF Police Stations under CNS Act 1997 and further investigations are under process.-PR
