RAHIM YAR KHAN:A two-day First All Pakistan Chemical Engineers Convention started at KhwajaFareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) on Thursday.Vice Chancellor (VC) Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology Prof Dr. Mehmood Saleem was chief guest while VC KFUEIT Prof Dr.Suleman Tahir inaugurated the convention.More than 20 professors and research scholars from different universities of Pakistan and more than 30 industrialists of chemical industries of the country will present their expertise in the convention. During his inaugural address, DrSuleman Tahir said that the objective of this convention is to narrow down the distance between industry and academia and there is need of such planning which would decrease the problems,the industry and education were facing. – PR
