Petitions filed against PTI, PAT sit-ins disposed of

ISLAMABAD, March 18: the Supreme Court on the request of petitioners has disposed please filed against sit-ins staged by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek outside parliament house in Islamabad.
A five-member SC bench headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali on Friday took up for hearing petitions filed by Lahore High Court Bar and others against the sit-ins.
Chief Justice Jamali remarked that “issuing any order in this case is not deemed to be appropriate”.
Justice Mian Saqib Nisar remarked “order for protection of democratic system has also been issued during first hearing of the case”.
Kamran Murtaza told the court that petitions had been filed for safeguarding the democratic system. It will be better to dispose of these petitions as the two parties have recognized the system, he said.
The court disposed of the petitions.-Online
