ISLAMABAD, March 17: A delegation of overseas Pakistanis, who had attended a convention in Islamabad a few days ago, met with PTI Additional Secretary Amir Kiani in Islamabad on Thursday and demanded audit of the funds they had donated for the purchase of banners. They also demanded the removal of Overseas Secretary Abdullah Riar. Kiani assured members of the delegation that he would convey their reservation as well as demand to Prime Minister Imran Khan. The delegation also met with ZulfiBukhari, a close aide of the prime minister, and conveyed to him that they had donated millions of dollars to the party, but sadly there was no audit of that huge sum. The complained that their grievances were not listened to at the overseas Pakistanis’ convention. In fact, they were made to listen to the PTI leaders’ speeches at the event, they grumbled.- NNI
