RAHIM YAR KHAN, March 17: The infrastructure of KhwajaFareed University of Engineering and Information Technology is being expanded. Following the recommendations of the Academic Council, the Syndicate approved the reconstitute of 8 faculties, 24 departments and 13 new centers and institutes. According to the notification, the Syndicate has approved the expansion of the faculties which include Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Chemical, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical and Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Administrative and Management. Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Faculty of Food, Health Sciences and Technology and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. New departments include Department of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, Institute of Computer and Software Engineering, Institute of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Agricultural Engineering, Institute of Engineering, Institute of Engineering. , Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Institute of Computer Science, Information Technology, Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Department of Cyber Security, Institute of Business Administration, Department of Accounting and Finance, Institutes of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Department of Life Sciences, Institute of Food Science and Technology, Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, Department of Pharmacy, Institute of Humanities, Department of Education, Department of Law, Center for Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, Center for Innovative Material Research, Center for Electronics and Robotics, Center for Theoretical and Computational Research, Center for Executive Training and Development. Center for Water, Land and Ecosystem, Center for Sufism, Center for Thermal and Renewable Energy Research, Center for Medical Services, Health Safety and Environment Center, Center for Basic Education, Dr. Ata-ur-Rehman Research Center and University Services Centers are included. In this regard, Vice Chancellor KhwajaFareed University of Engineering and Information Technology Prof. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir said that all the teaching needs of the university are being met on priority basis. He said that the importance of infrastructure for providing quality education in the university cannot be denied.
