On 23 March 2022, 146 citizens of Uzbekistan were returned from Ukraine through the airport in Katowice (Poland), including 42 women, 12 children and 2 babies.
In the period from 28 February to 24 March, 27 flights took place. 6,030 compatriots were taken out of the combat zone. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ukraine (temporarily based in Lvov), together with the Embassy of our country in Poland, are in constant contact with compatriots and coordinate their evacuation.
