ISLAMABAD, March 30: National Coordination Committee on Housing Construction and Development (NCCHCD) held its 138th meeting in Islamabad. The meeting was convened by the Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority (NAPHDA), Lieutenant General Anwar Ali Hyder (Retd), HI (M) and attended by officials from the Ministries of Housing and Works, Planning, Development & Special Initiative, Finance, Law and Justice, Survey of Pakistan, FBR, CDA as well as Chief Secretary’s offices Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, AJ&K, GB, Deputy Chairman NAPHDA, Major General AmerAslam Khan (Retd), HI(M), T.Bt, and others.
The Committee reviewed progress of digitization of cadastral records of different provinces being carried out by the Survey of Pakistan. The Surveyor General of Pakistan informed the Committee that the land record of Evacuee Trust Property Board, Capital Development Authority, Civil Aviation Authority, Pakistan Railways, WAPDA, and forests of Punjab, Sindh, KP, and Balochistan has been completely digitized. Cadastral mapping of land record of Punjab, Sindh and KP is in progress; while the record of all settled areas of Balochistan has been completed.-PR
