ISLAMABAD, April 3: President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and the most senior minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that today’s historic ruling in the National Assembly was an endorsement of the stance of Imran Khan.
He said that the deputy speaker’s ruling made it clear that Pakistan’s government could not be changed at the behest of foreign powers. He added that the proposal to dissolve the assemblies was an invitation to the opposition to come to the polls. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan expressed these views in his statement issued to the media. He asked the opposition to face Imran Khan in elections, calling elections the only way to prove the popularity of any leader or party. “Time and circumstances have proved that Imran Khan is not only a far-sighted and visionary world leader but also capable of delivering amazing results till the last ball on the field. In the next elections, PTI will be re-elected with an overwhelming majority. – NNI
