During the Republican meeting of social workers on Monday, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov said that the revenue part of the budget will reach KGS 500 billion in the near future.
“I demanded an increase in revenues from the Customs and the Tax Services. The main requirement before the Cabinet’s team led by Akylbek Zhaparov (Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers) was to increase the revenue part of the budget. You can see the results of active work of the Cabinet. By the end of 2021, the size of the consolidated budget was KGS 311 billion. This year the task is to increase budget revenues to KGS 400 billion, and next year – to KGS 500 billion. This is possible. It is necessary to eradicate corruption, it takes time, but we will achieve the goal,” the Kyrgyz leader noted. Bishkek is hosting on Monday the Republican meeting of social workers with the participation of President Sadyr Zhaparov. The event, attended by representatives of education, health, culture and social protection from all regions of the country, will discuss pressing issues of socio-economic development of the republic.
