Four Tajik athletes participated in the Tashkent SCO half marathon, reports the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.
Azamjon Davlatov, Mehrubon Shamsiddinov, Zulhija Gaforzoda, and Rajabmo Abdulloeva along with 2,300 other athletes from 31 countries took part in the SCO half marathon.
The marathon was held at two distances — 10 km and 21 km 97.5 m.
The best result of Tajik athletes among women was recorded by Rajabmo Abdulloeva. She finished fifth with a score of 1:29:53, while Zulhija Gaforzoda finished sixth with a score of 1:31:00.
Among women, Aziza Mirzoakbarova from Uzbekistan, the first winner of the SCO half marathon in Dushanbe, came to the finish line with a score of 1:15:16. The second place with the result of 1:16:45 was taken by the representative of Kyrgyzstan Maria Korobitskaya. Sitora Kurbanova from Uzbekistan placed third with a score of 1:24:38. The fourth place was taken by another representative of the host country Mahinabonu Komilova — 1:25:29. Among men with the result of 1:04:28 Nursultan Kuneshbekov from Kyrgyzstan took the first place. The winner of the Dushanbe half marathon 2021 Shohrukh Davlatov, also from Uzbekistan, finished second with a result of 1:04:40. Yerzhan Zhanarstanov from Kazakhstan placed third with a result of 1:07:47.
